Volvo considering shifting production to the US


Volvo could move production of some models inside the US from Europe to avoid potential Trump tariffs. By Stewart Burnett

Volvo Cars Chief Executive Jim Rowan has told Reuters that his company is considering moving production of some models to inside the US to circumvent newly-implemented tariffs by the Trump administration. “We’d have to wait and see the tariff quotes and then that would help us make that decision,” Rowan said.
