Last year, we launched a line with Pottery Barn Kids that was really a dream come true. We were so inspired by our own experiences as parents AND home renovators. With the team at Pottery Barn Kids, we got to dream up pieces that we always *wished* existed for kids’ rooms. The result was a collaboration of furniture, textiles, and décor that combined our love of dark-tone woods and traditional silhouettes. We’re so proud of that first collection… So it was a real pinch-me moment when they called about expanding our line to Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Teen!!
Upholstered Bed | 28″ Nightstand | Bedside Taper Holder
For our new Pottery Barn collection, we wanted to create modern, timeless pieces that feel elevated and classic. There are ticking stripes, warm brass accents, and turned-wood details that are just so special.
Modern Traditional Bookcase
The showpiece of the collection is a stunning onyx black modern traditional bed in queen and king sizes. The frame is black with finials for that traditional look, but it has an upholstered head and footboard in numerous color options for modern comfort.
There are some great new furniture pieces like onyx nightstands, an oversized dresser, a writing desk, and bookcase that all match the bed but would make amazing stand-alone pieces.
Vanity Mirror | Taper Candle Sconce | Writing Desk
There is also a floor mirror and vanity mirrors with removable feet—they have so much character. Add these to any room for historic, yet entirely of-the-moment, charm.
We asked the team if we could add a quince tree to the mix (Pottery Barn makes the best faux trees), and they came up with a beauty that I know will find the perfect spot in your home.
Mirrored Traditional Taper Sconce
To round out the collection, we added some woven planter baskets for stems and plants, plus some iron candle holders with a beaded rim that have the moody modern traditional look I love. They’re so good they could be treasures discovered at an antique auction!!
There’s even more to love in our Pottery Barn Teen and Pottery Barn Kids lines (including holiday finds!), so swing over there to see what you may have missed. We hope these pieces really elevate the way you feel when you’re in your bedrooms and homes. So tell me, what are you going to add to your collection??
