Houston’s Stages Theatre Picks A New Leader



When he moves to Houston in August to take on that role, he’ll become one of the first Black men to lead a major arts organization in the city. Dereck Charles Livingston is taking over the role from current artistic director Kenn McLaughlin, who is retiring after 18 seasons in the role and 25 seasons at the theater. – Houston Chronicle
