On Easter Sunday, Olive & Sea, the newest rooftop Mediterranean restaurant in Fort Lauderdale located on the Intracoastal, will be hosting a brunch that features a variety of culinary stations, specialty cocktails, and live entertainment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests are invited to indulge in the expansive brunch menu while enjoying the picturesque waterfront view. Offerings include nine culinary stations:

  • Raw Bar – oysters, smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, ceviche and smoked whitefish salad
  • Omelet Station – bacon, ham, spinach, onion, tomato, mushroom and cheese
  • Hot Bar –roasted chicken al faham, herb-crusted fish, rice pilaf, rustic potato hash, baklava French toast, bacon, chicken apple sausage, shakshuka and scrambled eggs
  • Laffa Pizza Station – Olive & Sea prepares freshly baked Laffa bread crust in the open-kitchen, mosaic-tiled-brick oven made to order for every pizza. This station will offer tomato halloumi, goat cheese & fig and a chef specialty Laffa pizzas.
  • Carving Station – roasted leg of lamb, kibbeh roasted beef,
  • Charcuterie – assorted meats & cheeses
  • Breads & Spreads –assorted house breads, spreads and mezzes

Lona Cocina & Tequileria offers a unique dining experience with bold Mexican cuisine, lively cocktails and ocean views. The restaurant invites guests to celebrate Easter with an enhanced, beachside Easter Brunch for $49+ per person. The event will occur from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 31. Recipe: 

Florida Honey-Goat Cheese Crusted New Zealand Lamb Rack

Serves 4

Dish Ingredients 

-Two 14-16oz New Zealand lamb Racks 

Crust Ingredients

-3oz Bread Crumbs Plain

-2oz Florida Wildflower Honey

-1oz Dijon Mustard 

-4oz Goat Cheese Soft Chevre

-1ea egg yolk 

-Salt and Pepper to taste 

Lamb Rack Marinade ingredients 

-3oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil 

-1oz Dijon Mustard 

-1oz Chopped Fresh Rosemary 

-1oz Chopped Fresh Thyme 

-1oz Chopped Fresh Oregano

-1oz Fresh Orange Zest

-Salt and Pepper To Taste 

To Prepare: Mix all marinade ingredients well, pour over lamb until well coated on all sides, and let marinate from 4 hours up to overnight in the refrigerator. Mix all crust ingredients until well combined. Preheat the grill to 500 degrees. Cook lamb rack over open flame until internal temperature of 145 degrees. Let the lamb sit until it reaches room temperature. Crust the top of the eye of the lamb rack with the goat cheese crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the lamb’s internal temperature is 160 degrees.
